An unique art taught by Ash Lawn-Highland's own Russell Hubert. Featured in the Lifestyles section of The Daily Progress newspaper (Charlottesville, Virginia) in January 2002 (see picture of article), Russell Hubert is one of few crafters, local or national, who practices paperquilling. Children can watch and learn from an expert.

The Paperquilling workshop begins with a demonstration and discussion of the colonial art of paperquilling. This is followed by a workshop in which each child decorates a card using the technique of paperquilling.
