Gingerbread and Lace Ornament Workshop

Interpreter Martha Bat Celebrate the spirit of Christmas on Sunday December 10th with an ornament making workshop at Ash Lawn-Highland, home of President James Monroe.

Between the hours of 2PM and 4PM, Ash Lawn-Highland’s head kitchen and craft interpreter Martha Bar will direct an ornament workshop.  Each participant in the workshop will be guided through the process of making Victorian inspired tree decorations.

The ornament making will be complimented by holiday food, festive music, and a light-hearted staff.  Children, ages 6 and above, and adults are invited to sign-up for the workshop. All children under 8 yrs old will need to attend with an adult.  The cost is $12 and reservations will need to be made in advance by calling Ash Lawn-Highland at 434-293-9539.
